This month, Burger Theory is celebrating Oktoberfest in Idaho Falls! Though everyone would love to go to Germany to celebrate, everyone is not able to. What better way than to celebrate Oktoberfest in Idaho Falls with Burger Theory!

The History behind Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest originated in Germany back in 1810 as a wedding celebration for the marriage of the crowned prince Ludwig of Bavaria. The wedding celebration included several days of drinking and other festivities. It has since become an event which is celebrated annually. After 200 years, the celebration has spread across many countries, becoming known as the world’s largest beer festival.

Our full-service bar is serving the Sam Adams Boston Lager. It is on tap now at the bar. The Sam Adams Boston Lager is great for fall. It has an amber appearance and the taste includes caramel malt, with toasty and subtle floral undertones.

Are you looking for the perfect combination with your Oktoberfest brew? We recommend pairing the drink with our Brat burger. The Brat burger includes a brat patty with roasted garlic mayo, sauerkraut served with a pickle spear, and fries. You can also customize your burger with any other condiments you would like. It complements the flavors of the Oktoberfest brew.
